It’s been a whirlwind 2019 for The Marlowe. This time last year, the theatre was preparing for the transfer of governance from Canterbury City Council to the independently managed Marlowe Trust. Since then, we’ve welcomed over 400,000 people through our doors, and continued to host some of the best in touring theatre, music, and dance. To top it all a 5 week run of Les Miserables, has just been announced for September/October 2020!

As well as all the commercial advantages to membership, now that The Marlowe is an independent charitable trust, we can work with you to realise you’re Corporate Social Responsibility objectives. We partner with 23 schools throughout East Kent, giving both young people and teachers opportunities to work with leading industry professionals such as the Royal Shakespeare Company and Matthew Bourne on memorable and often life changing projects.
