How to avoid 21st Century scammers, philshing and protect your IT systems better - YOUR STAFF MAY BE THE WEAKEST LINK in 21st CENTURY SCAMS

Tip of the day - Ensure your finance & reception staff have email addresses that do not conform to your standard company email addresses.
In order to avoid 21st Century scams, where external scammers / hackers gain access to your IT systems by guessing company email addresses for key staff, these key staff should have different email addresses for front-line staff such as receptionists and especially finance staff. Maybe their email addresses include a middle name initial, but this one minor change will make it more difficult for scammers to gain access to your company's email / IT / finance / banking systems.
Modern hackers use Facebook / Instagram / LinkedIn to gain access to your systems by getting lots of personal data and guessing passwords, so all frontline staff need to be made aware of this.
More banks are also providing free training courses for key frontline staff, so just ask your bank for front-line staff to attend?
